Vacation: London & Paris.. London Pt. 1

Oooh guess where I was for a week and a half.... It is a rather long blog post and very picture heavy but hey, what are going on vacations for. Holly and I drove from home, which is the St.Louis Area to Chicago. From there we took a flight to Boston then onto London's, Heathrow Airport. Nothing is more nerve racking them being asked when going threw customs, why are you here. The lady just smiled when I said " Vacation". Getting that passport book stamped was so exciting! The drive from the airport was forever it seems as we were going to the other side of London, Westminster... We arrived at our flat and immediately was on with our day. A little shopping for a few groceries, our nutella, bread, cereal and milk.. then Phantom of the Opera that night. It was lovely walking the streets of London and thinking about actually how old the city was. I was never a history geek but I had my 'awwww' moments!

Holly and Heather take on London....

The week and a half we were over in Europe flew by, but at a nice pace to where we were actually ready to go home. We diffidently explored the city and made some new friends on the way. A friend of ours Holly S came to stay a couple of nights with us, she is from southern England. She is so lush and fun, shes fits right in with my Holly and I.

Then my friend Abbie and her bestie Carmel came to stay a night, they being from northern England. Hearing the three of there accents were so funny to us and the words, the meaning of little things is so different from us Americans....

Down by the Eye, the night we first met with Abbie and Carmel, I was so excited to be
finally meeting Abbie, after almost a year of talking!  Dinner with the ladies.. we ate and shared fun stories, all of us bringing something interesting to the table..
