My life in Washington, the journey wasn't a waste after all!

On Jan. 10, 2010 I flew out of St.Louis, MO. at the bright hour of 6am! I was full of excitement and nervous at the same time. I was making a move, 2.389 miles away to the little town of Forks, WA. To this day I still remember how I felt, words just cannot describe! Freedom and adventures awaiting. I never though I would miss home so much in my life...

My plane landed in Seattle, WA. and I was more than excited to go on that smaller plane, a seven seater, which I was in love with! My cousin who I was going to live with wasn't able to pick me up, so the sweetheart neighbor did. As we chatted I know she was laughing at me, why would anyone be excited about moving to little Forks. (This was not my first time hearing this either!) My cousin Tina was there to great me with open arms, and so my three month journey started! The unpacking of boxes, rearranging my room at least a million times the first week and spending time with my loves Linda, Katie and Clarene! I was getting settled and loved the beautiful snowy days we had the first few weeks, when the sun came out it literally looked like a snow globe outside! Getting to know my family, Tina and Nathan was the best out of all of the trip!

A snowy day in Forks, the sun was actually out...

By my third week I was busy, hanging out at the radio station during the day and church activities such as Winter Camp and Woman's Retreat. It was in Washington where my life started finally coming together and I really started seeing the bigger picture. I knew I was brought there for a reason, I was just wanting to know that reason so much and I demanded to know it right there at that moment. Time has a way of telling you to slow down and all will come to be in time... I was lacking that patience! God was teaching me a lesson...

Mushroom Ravioli @ Pacific Pizza off of the Twilight Menu! Bahahaaa!!!

Going to the beach, spending time with the youth group and snuggling with my two kitties was good, but I really missed my family back at home! I stuck it out as long as I could and the memories. I lasted three months before I made the move home. It was worth it, I found out things were not so bad and I have to have my family in my life, that's just the way it's always going to be!

Nate and I, double trouble cousins!

I lived down the road from the 'Cullen' house... a.k.a The Miller Tree Inn!

 It really was Twilightville!!!
