Vacation: Forks, Washington!

Time for some relaxation and some peace of mind... that means vacation!

Leaving St.Louis!
Breakfast... Salty Caramel Mocha Frapp!

Sunrise headed to St.Paul.

As I sat at the airport, in sweats and a parka, with no makeup on what so ever and my hair plain straight, the excitement was building as you can tell. Our flight was heading out at 6:30 and we had to be at the airport you usual two hours before the flight. Even though we would have been fine just being there one hour. Mothers have to always have there way though. lol The flight to St.Paul was a small one and the sunrise was breathtaking. Inside of the airport was a little Mall, with stores such a Ross, Harley Davidson, The Chocolate Factory, The Body Shop and Chanel. It was a nice little train ride/ walk to our terminal. We only had 55 min. before our flight was leaving and we arrived just as our flight was boarding. Too close of a call for us. The flight to Seattle was smooth and amazing, I had a few naps in between my attention going in and out of the in flight movie, the new X Men movie. I choose most of the time to listen to my music, Maroon 5, Adele and Britney Spears really helped me threw this long travel day. Our flight finally landed and there was beautiful Mt. Rainer, waiting for me once more! The long drive to the west side of state was about to start...a four and a half hour drive, including a twenty minute ferry ride.

I love everything about Seattle, Wa. Even better then Seattle is the little town of Forks. My first time visiting was last summer and I lived there for a few months in the winter. It is my home away from home and it always will be...

Finally in Seattle, waiting on out air-porter...

Amazing view!
LOVE!
 The Original Starbucks!!!

After driving around downtown Seattle for almost an hour, picking up and dropping off passengers, we had the full tour and I must say.. I am in love with the city. The Space Needle was absolutely amazing to see that close, though my picture I did get of it was so blurry there was no point to show it. It was awesome though, take my word for it. From there we hooped onto the Kingston Ferry to head to the western part of state. There was passed threw Port Townsend, Discovery Bay and Squim before finally getting to Port Angeles.

Kingston Ferry, not my favorite place in the world..

HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!!

Finally getting into Forks after the hour drive down Highway 101, we were so tired at that point, but I was so happy to finally be here.

Dazzled by Twlight...

I should have gotten a picture of the attack kitten. A little black kitten hat Ashton, the owner of Dazzled rescued just days ago, a mere 6 weeks old and she loved to attack feet. Since dazzled is so dark inside you never know where she is lurking. lol

Hello Gorgeous.....

The best apple strussle ever from Pacific Pizza.

Another beautiful day in Forks!

Ruby Beach... my first time!

Leaving Ruby beach

Forks is usually very chilly and rainy, but this week we were blessed with the best weather possible. The evenings watching the sunsets, running around bare footed on the beach, falling into the water and freezing the drive back to town, all of it worth it! I love Washington and I love Forks! Everyone I saw that I had gotten close to while I lived here greeted me with open arms and lots of hugs! I have made life long friends and some of the best memories here. Heading home now back to the Midwest! No ocean and no vampires!

Goodbye Washington...Mt.Rainer.

Sunset flying to Atlanta!!!

All in all it was a great week, but we were so busy that it was hardly a vacation!
Still love my Washington though!
